Agawam High School Project Secures Approval from Voters and MSBA

June 26, 2024 - The Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) has advanced the Agawam High School project to enter the Design and Construction Phase. This approval follows a decisive vote by the residents of Agawam, Massachusetts, who overwhelmingly supported funding for the Agawam High School Project. With 71 percent of voters in favor, the town has made a significant advancement in modernizing its educational infrastructure.

The project team undertook an extensive investigation of various options and presented their findings to the community for a thorough review. This inclusive approach ensured that the final decision was well-informed and reflective of the community's diverse needs and aspirations.

The new educational campus will feature a high school and a pre-kindergarten facility. The design emphasizes green spaces and walkways, aimed at enhancing the overall experience for both students and staff. This modern approach to campus planning underscores a commitment to creating an inviting and sustainable educational environment. With this joint approval, Agawam is set to embark on a transformative project to significantly enhance its educational facilities, benefiting future generations of students.
