CRS Wins a BSA Honor Awards
We are excited to announce that Flansburgh won an honor for the Charles River Middle School during the BSA Awards Gala. Located in Dover, Massachusetts, the new 14,000-square-foot middle school building utilizes a range of types and sizes of spaces to support an innovative curriculum rooted in design thinking. The project presents a restrained façade towards Dover Center while interior spaces spill out onto the playground through a glass façade opening onto the rest of the campus. The project extended a historic stone wall along a community thoroughfare and a large parking area was replaced with community green space. Accessible campus paths to buildings previously not accessible to one another were also provided.
