Flansburgh is pleased to announce the interns for the summer of 2024. Finn Larson, a returning intern from last summer, and Collin Whitener, a new addition to the Flansburgh Team. Read more about them below.
Finn Larson just graduated from Andrews University with a BSA in Architecture. Having grown up in the Boston area, Finn first heard of Flansburgh through the renovation of his high school, St John’s Preparatory Academy. Last summer Finn was able to work on the initial design concepts for ongoing Flansburgh projects, and is thrilled to be able to continue his work this summer. When not at Flansburgh, Finn divides his time between his collaborations with Chicago-based Floral company Noman and his love of the ocean. If he had a podcast, it would be called “Is this thing on?”.
Collin Whitner graduated from Texas Tech with a BS in Architecture and is currently pursuing his masters at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Although new to Flansburgh, Collin has spent the last several summers assisting professors with research projects and is excited to get some hands-on experience this summer. An admirer of Gothic architecture, Collin hopes to one day visit Edinburgh Scotland to see the beautiful stonework. In his personal life, Collin finds himself sounded by his many houseplants and spending time with his friends.
The team is delighted to have them both on board, and stay tuned for more updates as the summer progresses.
