Designed for both school and community use, the new 500-seat Sutton Memorial Theater gives Sutton Middle School and Sutton High School a professional-level dramatic venue to showcase their robust drama program program. The new theatre features state-of-the-art theatre technology including a Lutron LED programmable lighting system for easy use, and full handicap accessibility.
The curved form of the auditorium ringed with LED lights creates an intimate feel and engages the audience with the performance. The illuminated balcony fronts extend the performance into the house and can be synced to a music track or preprogrammed to work in conjunction with other theatrical lighting. The main stage has adjustable prosceniums to change configurations for a variety of performance options. The two back sections of the auditorium double as individual lecture halls.
